Outside Education aims to engage youth and community members with the local natural environment in a range of programs, workshops and events, aimed to raise awareness of environmental issues and develop cooperative strategies for solutions to environmental problems and facilitate the acquisition of knowledge, skills and values necessary for independence on a functioning planet.

Project 1. OUR PLACE
An engagement program for youth, aiming to increase learning opportunities using the natural environment as a curriculum. Collaborative community partnerships will be sought out to allow holistic, individual change to occur with supported case management via multiple agencies. The Program Curriculum will be a combination of service-learning projects, outdoor education skills and knowledge, focussed upon community goals for sustainable development.

Project 2. RECYCLES BIKE PROGRAM
A bicycle program to reengage youth with learning and develop skills in mechanics and science (physics), by building a refurbished bicycle.
Materials will be sourced for free and resources collected from collaborative sources to run program with minimal costs. All participants will create a bicycle to keep, to create a sustainable transport option for the future, and one for a community donation project for a child in need.
Project 3. Natural Education
Homeschool Education Programs- Science-based nature education for children of all ages. Learn to connect with the natural world and benefit from the outdoor classroom.
Biological Research Projects- connecting the local community to the local natural resources with learning projects that specialize in biological sciences and support conservation and/or recreation.
School Programs- Contract certified teachers for on-site outdoor education classes or field trips to nature destinations.

Project 4. Over The Rainbow (Dreams for the future)
Project Armadale Playspace- a long term vision to create an interactive, physically creative playground for older youth to reconnect with play and the natural outdoor environment in a safe and fun natural environment.
